PENGUATAN LITERASI HUKUM ADAT MELALUI PENYUSUNAN BUKU SYARAH HUKUM ADAT DI BUMI SERENTAK BAK REGAM KABUPATEN BATANG HARI: PERSPEKTIF PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYARAKAT DAN MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mendokumentasikan, memperjelas, dan memperkuat literasi masyarakat mengenai hukum adat Melayu melalui penyusunan Buku Syarah Hukum Adat di Bumi Serentak Bak Regam Kabupaten Batang Hari. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2025 melalui kolaborasi antara Majelis Ulama Indonesia Kabupaten Batang Hari, akademisi, tokoh adat, unsur pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang adat Melayu Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pengabdian kolaboratif dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, penelusuran dokumen, konsultasi pakar dan tokoh adat, penyusunan draf, pembahasan substansi, validasi materi, serta penerbitan awal buku. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan buku syarah hukum adat mampu mengubah pengetahuan adat yang sebelumnya banyak diwariskan secara lisan menjadi sumber rujukan tertulis yang lebih sistematis. Buku tersebut disusun dengan mempertimbangkan nilai Islam, adat Melayu, dan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Selain berfungsi sebagai panduan bagi pemangku lembaga adat di tingkat desa dan kelurahan, buku ini juga berpotensi menjadi sumber belajar berbasis kearifan lokal. Dalam lingkup manajemen pendidikan, kegiatan ini mencerminkan praktik pengelolaan pengetahuan lokal yang dapat mendukung pendidikan karakter, literasi budaya, serta pembelajaran kontekstual. Keberlanjutan program perlu diperkuat melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan pemangku adat, distribusi buku, dan evaluasi pemanfaatannya di masyarakat.

PERAN RUMAH BELAJAR MASYARAKAT DALAM MENDUKUNG PENDIDIKAN ANAK DI DESA MARGA MULYA KECAMATAN SUNGAI BAHAR

Children's education in Marga Mulya Village, Sungai Bahar District, still faces various challenges,
especially in terms of access and learning assistance. As part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan
Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), Batanghari Islamic University, through the Community Learning
Center at Post 23, strives to support the improvement of the quality of children's education. This program
provides tutoring services, academic assistance, and learning motivation reinforcement by actively involving
students, lecturers, and the local community. Activities are carried out using child-friendly, interactive, and
educational learning methods, including games, discussions, and practice questions. Observations show an
improvement in children's reading, writing, arithmetic, discipline, interest, and learning motivation. Additionally,
this program has fostered good cooperation between mentors, children, and parents, and has been positively
received by the community as an effective alternative learning tool.

MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN GURU MGMP BAHASA INDONESIA SMP NEGERI DI KOTA JAMBI DALAM MENYUSUN PENELITIAN TINDAKAN KELAS MELALUI KEGIATAN WORKSHOP

This community service activity aims to enhance teachers’ ability to develop Classroom
Action Research (CAR) through workshops and mentoring conducted with the Indonesian Language
Teachers Association (MGMP) of State Junior High Schools in Jambi City. Twenty-five teachers
participated actively in this program. The implementation methods included conceptual training, hands-on
proposal writing, and one-month mentoring sessions. The evaluation results indicated a significant
improvement in teachers’ competencies, particularly in formulating research problems, determining
methodologies, and writing research reports. The average improvement reached 30% after the program.
Beyond technical skills, teachers’ attitudes toward CAR shifted from an administrative requirement to a
means of reflection and continuous professional development. The activity also strengthened collaborative
culture within the MGMP and supported the establishment of professional learning communities in schools.

PENGUATAN KAPASITAS ASESOR: ANALISIS PELAKSANAAN PELATIHAN INSTRUMEN AKREDITASI 2024 VERSI 2025 BAN-PDM PROVINSI JAMBI

Assessor training is crucial for ensuring accreditation quality, especially with the introduction of the 2024 Accreditation Instrument (2025 Version) by BAN-PDM. This community service aims to describe and evaluate the implementation of the assessor training conducted by BAN-PDM Jambi Province. This service activity was conducted using a blended learning method (synchronous and asynchronous) via Zoom Meeting. The author acted as a trainer during the synchronous sessions (10 JP). Participants were 34 active BAN-PDM Jambi assessors from Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and School/Madrasah (S/M) levels. The findings indicate that the training successfully provided a foundational understanding of the new instrument, but its effectiveness was not optimal. Two significant challenges were identified: (1) low commitment from some participants (multitasking, cameras off) during online sessions; and (2) a participation gap, where PAUD assessors were largely passive, feeling the training materials were more relevant to the S/M level. The training's effectiveness was hindered by participant commitment and the policy of merging PAUD and S/M groups. It is recommended that BAN-PDM implements stricter monitoring and separates training groups for PAUD and S/M assessors.

PENYULUHAN PENANGGULANGAN TERORISME, RADIKALISME, DAN INTOLERANSI DI MAN 1 BATANG HARI

This community service program aims to strengthen the understanding of students at Madrasah
Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari regarding the prevention of terrorism, radicalism, and intolerance. The activity
was conducted through counseling, interactive discussions, and case-based learning designed to enhance
students’ awareness and critical thinking. The method used involved a participatory approach that encouraged
active involvement from students through questions, reflections, and situational analysis. The results indicate
increased knowledge and awareness among participants, reflected through post-activity responses and
feedback. The conclusion shows that preventive education in schools is essential in promoting moderate
Islamic values and strengthening resilience against radical ideologies

PENGABDIAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI SEMINAR PENGUATAN PERAN IBU DALAM MENCEGAH KEKERASAN TERHADAP ANAK SEJAK DINI

The increasing number of cases of violence against children in Indonesia, including in Jambi
Province and Batanghari Regency, demonstrates the urgency of strengthening the role of families, particularly
mothers, in non-violent parenting. This community service activity aims to increase mothers' understanding
and awareness of the importance of positive parenting from an early age by strengthening the emotional bond
between mother and child. The implementation method was a hybrid seminar (online and offline) involving
Bunda PAUD, PKK cadres, and representatives of mothers at the village and district levels. The material
covered strengthening mother-child relationships, early attachment, non-violent parenting, and family
resilience towards Indonesia Emas 2045. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants'
understanding of the forms of violence in parenting, their impact on children's futures, as well as strategies
for compassionate parenting and emotional regulation. This activity further strengthens the view that
maternal empowerment is key to preventing violence and building sustainable family resilience.
