Teacher performance is one of the important factors in determining the quality of primary education, which is influenced by transformational leadership, teacher discipline, and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the direct effects of transformational leadership and teacher discipline on job satisfaction and teacher performance, as well as the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between transformational leadership and teacher discipline and teacher performance in public elementary schools in Serang Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The study population consisted of 5,185 civil servant teachers, with a sample of 372 respondents determined using the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error and the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation and analyzed using SmartPLS 4 through outer model evaluation, inner model evaluation, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that transformational leadership and teacher discipline had positive and significant effects on job satisfaction and teacher performance. Job satisfaction also had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance and mediated the effects of transformational leadership and teacher discipline on teacher performance. Thus, improving teacher performance can be achieved by strengthening transformational leadership and teacher discipline, supported by enhancing job satisfaction.
