Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Indonesia telah mengalami perkembangan kurikulum yang signifikan sejak era awal hingga penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, mencerminkan transformasi pemahaman pedagogis dan kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana evolusi kurikulum PAUD berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan aspek-aspek perkembangan anak usia dini seperti kognitif, sosial-emosional, bahasa, motorik, dan kreativitas serta tantangan dalam implementasinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan analisis dokumen kebijakan, termasuk kajian regulasi seperti Permendikdasmen No. 13 Tahun 2025 dan kajian akademik terkait inovasi kurikulum PAUD. Penelitian ini juga meninjau studi kasus dan tinjauan pustaka mengenai penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di PAUD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum telah berkembang dari pendekatan sangat struktural dan instruktif menjadi lebih fleksibel, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada anak; inovasi materi dan tujuan kurikulum telah mendorong penguatan aspek perkembangan anak, terutama dalam kreativitas, berpikir kritis, dan kemandirian. Namun, tantangan seperti kesiapan guru, pelatihan profesional, dan kesenjangan sumber daya antar satuan PAUD masih menghambat efektivitas penuh implementasi. Kesimpulannya, perkembangan kurikulum PAUD di Indonesia secara umum berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan perkembangan anak usia dini, tetapi keberlanjutan peningkatan mutu PAUD membutuhkan dukungan kebijakan, pelatihan guru, dan sumber daya agar aspek perkembangan anak benar-benar teroptimalkan.
